Lotus 8 at the MSEA Scholastic Esports Expo – Inspiring the Next Generation of Creators and Competitors on May 23-24th 2025

Lotus 8 was proud to participate in the MSEA Scholastic Esports Expo at Red River College in Downtown Winnipeg, where we had the chance to engage directly with Manitoba’s future in gaming and digital media.

🎥 Mentorship Through Content Creation
Our very own content creator, Yoboycue, led a mentorship session designed to empower students interested in streaming, content production, and the art of storytelling through gaming. From overcoming self-doubt to building an authentic online presence, students walked away with real tools to start their own journeys as creators.

🎟️ Telus Jersey Raffle with Virjinia
At our booth, we connected with students through a fun Telus-sponsored jersey raffle, giving away exclusive Lotus 8 x Telus jerseys. and gift cards With support from Lotus 8 Virjinia, students got a inside look of what it's like to be part of an elite team — and took home some swag!

🚀 Main Stage Rocket League Show Match
We closed the day with a live Tier 1 Rocket League match, featuring our Top 16 North America RLCS Lotus 8 team against Cobalt Esports, another powerhouse squad. The crowd got a behind-the-scenes look at pro-level communication, decision-making, and teamwork, showing students what it truly takes to compete at the highest level.

This was more than just an expo — it was a chance to inspire the next generation of esports talent and digital leaders. We’re grateful to MSEA and Red River College for having us, and we’re already looking forward to what’s next.
