Lotus 8 Collaborates with Manitoba Moose for Epic Fun Day at Canada Life Centre
Lotus 8 Esports was proud to collaborate with the Manitoba Moose during Epic Fun Day at Canada Life Centre in downtown Winnipeg—an unforgettable day filled with esports, creativity, and community connection.
The event brought together families, students, esports fans, and the broader Manitoba community for a day of interactive experiences, and Lotus 8 was excited to deliver engaging esports activations that welcomed everyone gamers and non-gamers alike.
NHL 26 Fan Shootout Challenge
One of the highlights of the day was our NHL 26 Fan Shootout Challenge, where attendees had the chance to step up, grab a controller, and test their skills in a fast-paced hockey showdown. The activation drew a steady crowd, sparked friendly competition, and gave fans a fun way to engage with the sport in a digital format.
Participants competed for Manitoba Moose prizing and gaming products, creating excitement and memorable moments for fans of all ages.
MSEA Minecraft Design Challenge
In partnership with MSEA, Lotus 8 also hosted a Minecraft Design Challenge, inviting students to showcase their creativity and imagination. The challenge encouraged teamwork, problem-solving, and digital creativity—core values that align closely with Lotus 8’s mission of using esports as a positive learning and engagement tool.
Seeing students proudly present their designs and compete for Manitoba Moose prizes reinforced how powerful esports can be when it blends creativity with fun.
We’re grateful to the Manitoba Moose and our collaboration partners for the opportunity to be part of such a meaningful community event. Epic Fun Day showed how esports activations can enhance live sports experiences, engage youth, and create inclusive spaces for learning and play.
