Lotus 8 Wellness Tour Visits Sargent Tommy Prince School — Inspiring the Next Generation of Esports Athletes
The Lotus 8 Wellness Tour continues to make waves across Manitoba—this time visiting Sargent Tommy Prince School in Brokenhead on October 15th, where Esports met wellness, education, and empowerment.
This stop was filled with excitement, laughter, and learning as students got hands-on experience with Rocket League and Super Smash Bros., while discovering how gaming can become a tool for focus, teamwork, and self-growth.
Esports Meets Wellness
At the heart of every Lotus 8 school visit is our Performance Mindset Meditation (PMM) system—our signature program that brings together:
🧠 Mental wellness coaching
🏃♂️ Fitness and mobility sessions
🧘 Pre-game meditation and breathing exercises
🥗 Nutrition and healthy lifestyle awareness
Students learned how to calm their minds before competition, how to stretch and move their bodies for better focus, and how to approach both gaming and life with balance and intention.
Mindset, Movement, and Motivation
Before any games began, the day kicked off with guided performance breathing and mindfulness training—helping students center themselves and understand that true high performance starts from within.
The energy carried into friendly Rocket League matches and team challenges, where students practiced communication, sportsmanship, and mental focus under pressure—all while having fun and supporting each other.
Healthy Fuel for Healthy Minds
Thanks to our partner Supplements World Canada, students received free healthy snacks and drinks to keep them energized throughout the day. From protein bars to hydration boosts, every bite reminded them that physical health fuels mental performance.
Building a Movement
The Lotus 8 team’s mission is to uplift youth through Esports, mental wellness, and community connection.
Through our ongoing partnership with MFNERC (Manitoba First Nations Education Resource Centre), we’re proud to bring this experience to schools across Manitoba—promoting mindfulness, fitness, and positive gaming culture.
Every visit is more than just gaming—it’s about building confidence, discipline, and unity through the shared language of Esports.
Thank You
A huge thank you to the staff, students, and community at Sargent Tommy Prince School for welcoming us with open arms. Your energy and openness made this stop one to remember.
Next stop—coming soon. Stay tuned as we continue the Lotus 8 Wellness Tour, spreading Esports with purpose across Manitoba.
